Moxie Custom Order Hoops
Made to order on a 160psi non-collapsible base, 160psi 4-piece base, 160psi 6-8 piece base, or Troo Hoops 4-piece/8-piece 125psi base (when available). An economical choice is a non-collapsible hoop, and can be cut to a size that suits you best. For example, Super Hooper 50" is an excellent assist for some because the larger diameter goes slower. A hooper ready for a challenge should look for a smaller size, or thinner tubing for a lighter feel. For easier transportation and storage, choose a 4-piece hoop and for the ultimate in flexibility, a 6-8 sectioned travel hoop can be sized smaller or larger by changing the number of links in use. It's perfect for a developing hooper, and for travel. While they're versatile, sectioned hoops have an increased cost due to additional materials, construction and complexity. $35-65

Care of your hoop
A note on that well-loved look: For some, the marks on a hoop tell the story of a long, fun life with an old friend and do not affect performance. If you want to keep your hoop looking its best, avoid abrasive surfaces like pavement, textured walls, protruding objects, etc and keep to grass, carpet and mats. A little light mist of rain won't hurt your hoop, but hooping in heavy rain or leaving it submerged in water or buried in snow is not recommended as the gripper tape could become sticky when wet. If the kids decide to use the hoop like a Pogo stick in the mud and your tape gets a bit dirty (yes it's happened), you can wipe it with a damp rag and you're good to go. Any remaining marks? That's character.
Sectioned hoops with joints and rivets and snap buttons are designed for hooping on and off the body but should not be used like a Pogo stick (as referenced above), as they are not designed for compression or stress on the joints like tug of war.
Normal use is defined as hooping on the body (neck, shoulders, chest, waist, hips, knees) or hooping off the body (rolls, isolations, hands) and issues involving the structure of the hoop under normal use are eligible for examination and repair. Scrapes and mars of the hoop tape and dirt are considered normal use and are not covered under a repair agreement. To keep your tape looking as nice as possible, stay on soft surfaces and away from walls. We do offer tape replacement for a price quote.
Polypropylene tubing has the advantage of being lightweight and responsive, but due to its brittle nature, is prone to cracking in use in cold temperatures. Hoops made from "polypro" may look like children's hoops, but they are not designed to withstand the energy of children. For adults, it's a highly responsive piece of dance or fitness equipment and that is what we sell it as. Damaged incurred outside of this normal use, such as kinked or bent, are not covered under a repair agreement. Replacement of sections may be available for a quote.
